Mr. Md. Abdul Malek joined the present post as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rajshahi (Pay Scale- Grade-II) on 04 February 2025. Before that he was serving as Additional Mahanagar Session Judge at Rajshahi. His Service ID is 2008203326
He started his career as a judge by passing the 3rd BJS (Bangladesh Judicial Service) examination in 2008.
Mr. Md. Abdul Malek was born on June 10, 1982 in a noble Muslim family of Kadihat Patagora village of Ranisongkoil Upazila of Thakurgaon District. He passed the SSC examination with merit from Kadihat High School in 1997 & HSC examination with merit from Somiruddin smrity College, Thakurgaon in 1999 and was admitted to the Law Department of Dhaka University from where he obtained LLB (Hons) in 2004 and LLM in 2005.
During his career he has received basic and advanced professional training in the country and abroad. Among them, Special Training Program for Bangladesh Judicial Officers organized by the National Judicial Academy in Bhopal in 2019 funded by the Government of India, Basic Training Course organized by Judicial Administration Training Institute, Dhaka in 2009, 55th Basic Training Course organized by Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center are particularly noteworthy.
In personal life Mr. Md. Abdul Malek is married and father of one son and one daughter.
